Izadi recovers all of Rioja's local white grape varieties to produce a very special white wine with some ageing, sourced from the oldest vineyards in the area. D.O.Ca.Rioja.
Vines on the top of the hillsides in the oldest vineyards of Villabuena planted with local varieties recovered in Rioja. Goblet-trained vines planted on a total surface area of 178 hectares.
Manual harvest. Stainless steel tanks and some kilograms in new french oak barrels.
Tasting notes:
Lemon yellow in colour with bright green tones. Succulent white and tropical fruit, citrus, floral notes, and deep toasty and spicy aromas at the back. On the palate, it is a refreshing and flavourful wine with high structure, citrus and white fruit notes with a refreshing end with white flowers and lightly toasted reminiscences.
